To all NYC metro amateur pizza makers ! We’d like to gage the interest level from local pizza enthusiasts who might like to participate in a NYC area Pizza Cook Off. The competition will be held outdoors with competitors baking on wood or gas fired portable pizza ovens (think Ooni, Roccbox, etc.). Competition is open to all amateur pizza makers with entry fees around $100 to $125 and cash prizes of up to $1,000 for 1st place. The event will likely be held in southern Westchester county and will be sponsored by Fortissimo Pizza Ovens and conducted under the auspices of the Pizza Cook Off Association (PCA).
