Outdoor pizza ovens have become increasingly popular in recent years, as more and more people want to create authentic, wood-fired pizzas to rival those found in traditional pizzerias. These specialized ovens are designed to cook pizzas at high temperatures, typically ranging from 700 to 900 degrees Fahrenheit, in as little as 60 to 90 seconds. This is how pizza in Italy was, and still is, made. The result is a unique pizza which cannot be replicated in the traditional home oven.

Outdoor pizza ovens come in a variety of sizes and styles, from small portable models to larger, permanent installations that become the centerpiece of the backyard.

Most outdoor pizza ovens are designed to run on wood, gas, wood pellets, or a combination of gas and wood.  While not as common, there are some electric models available.

WOOD FIRED OVENS

For those who prefer the most traditional cooking methods, our wood-fired pizza ovens require building and managing a fire in the cooking chamber itself which will recreate the most authentic pizza making experience possible.   While it takes time to maintain the temperature and some clean up afterward, nothing can beat the sight and aroma of a wood-fired pizza oven in action adding  a unique, rustic charm to your outdoor entertaining area, and no pizza will come out better.

GAS OVENS

Our gas pizza ovens are ideal for those who want the convenience of quick and easy cooking, without sacrificing quality. They can reach the same high temperatures as wood fired ovens and will make outstanding pizzas without the attention required that wood fired ovens require. With precise temperature control, you can cook your pizzas to perfection every time.

GAS AND WOOD OVENS

If you can't decide between gas or wood-fired, our dual pizza ovens offer the best of both worlds. With the ability to switch between gas and wood-fired cooking, you can experiment with different cooking methods and find your perfect pizza.

Ultimately, the choice between wood-fired and gas-fired pizza ovens comes down to personal preference, the ambiance factor,  and cooking style. While wood-fired ovens offer a traditional, authentic experience, gas-fired ovens provide convenience and consistent temperature control.

Note that the quality of pizza made in a high temp oven, whether it be wood or gas fired is essentially the same.  Contrary to popular belief, wood fired ovens do not impart a smoky flavor on the pizza.  They are in the oven for only 60 to 90 seconds so there's no time for that smoky flavor to develop.  The char, or 'leopard spots' on the crust come from the intense high heat - whether produced by gas, electric, or wood.  Purists will argue that a wood fired oven is drier than a gas one and results in a better, more authentic pizza, but I think the difference in taste , if any, is very subtle.

Beyond pizza, outdoor pizza ovens can also cook a wide range of other dishes, from bread to roast meats and vegetables. With their high heat output and versatile design, outdoor pizza ovens offer a unique and exciting way to elevate your outdoor cooking game and impress your friends and family.
